Extra Credit Posting!!! =)
This week I really had fun seen everyone give their lesson plan I thought it was a great. I really like how everyone had their own different style and creative. It was really fun seen everyone coming together and plan their lesson for future classes. I really like the idea however, it is kind of hard putting all the things together that you want to teach in a week. However, it was really nice and i did enjoy.

WEEK 12
What Do I feel on Voice Thread....? I do feel that is a really interesting, because it allowed students or any person to comment in any picture or presentation. I after hearing some of the things people say. It remind me when I took a Financial Class this summer because she would teach how to work problems and other many different things. If I was to choose this for a class I would only used for presentations or when we cancel class or an emergency. I would tell the students to log in and we would discuss about a topic or an assignment. But I would not used for a daily basic.

Please tell me how thing went and how you felt about the activities. Please feel free to give suggestions. I really like this activity because it was fun to create it and it made you think on the important things. Therefore, it was fun to create the brochure.
- How did you feel about creating a brochure this week? It was really interesting and fun even though it took me a while to figure out how to use. It was really creative and I really enjoy it.

How do I feel about Desktop Publishing I really like the program because it allowed you to be creative and it really fun to work on. I really had a great time doing this activity.

WEEK 8
Please tell me how your PPT project is going. What topic have you chosen? How do you feel about your partner? Does your partner help you work faster and better than working alone?
In our group we decided to do our PowerPoint is "the influence of web-based learning" I really think is going to be an interesting PowerPoint. I do think we have good partners to work with on our PowerPoint. I do think working together we can finish our task fast and on time. Therefore, I do really think is going to be an interesting experience.

WEEK 7
How far should educators go in matching the technology used in instruction and classroom activities to the technology their students used? I would say in a level were it would allow students to learn in a good way but not to difficult or complicated. However, as long the educator explain very well the instruction it would not matter what kind of technology we use.
Are online chats and instant messaging of value in the classroom? Do they add to student learning, or do they distract from “real” instruction?
Yes, because it allow students to think and to learn to communicate with each others. It also help them as a group to argue and to make decision. They all put their ideas then everyone try to put what individual knows best. Therefore, seen students chat in class is really a good idea because they are learning and you can also go back and see how they the process of their decisions they had to made.
Are there benefits to asynchronous, text-based communication over synchronous, face-to-face communication? In what situations? Online communications are often asynchronous. However, we lose important communication cues, such as body language, tone of voice, accents, dialects, pace, pauses, and other important cues to meaning. Therefore, I would say that we should try to do our best to do face-to-face communication.
Does using podcasts with students really enhance learning, or is it simply a newer version of passively delivering information?
Well, today a podcasts has become increasingly common, knowing how to create them becomes an essential skill for today's students. It also designed to inspire and motivate the next generation of explorers and to compete effectively for the minds, imagination, and career ambitions of American's young people.
Does videogame help develop your studying? Why or why not? Explain. What skills can you gain from it? Do you agree with the article? If you have children, would you let them play videogame every day? Why/why not?
I would have to say it depends what kinds of videogame you play. For example, if you are playing playstation and playing Mario or other type of game I would have to say that you are not leaning. However, if you play those kind of game were you challenge your brain to think. One of videogames I do think it works are those kind of videogames for children were they are able to read, write, work problems, spell etc. Because for a child it would make them think out the box and challenge their self to improve every time they play. I do agree that playing videogames were you learn and help you in your future I think is ok to play them.

WEEK 6
Tell me how you feel about delicious site and what you think about it. Will you use it? Why/why not?
I think is a really good website were you can get a lot of information in a fast way. I did really thought it was a nice way to organized your files. However, for me it was too much information and a little confuse. Therefore, I would not think I would use it that much because if I decided to use it. It would be only to search important things are bookmark if I know I might going to used it are not. However, I really enjoy looking at the Delicious websites it was interesting to look at. The good thing is that if you need anything you just type it and it would find the information in a fast way.

WEEK 5
What is your personality type?
My characteristic on the test was ENFJ "The Giver"
As an ENFJ, our primary mode of living is focused externally, where we deal with things according to how we feel about them, or how they fit into our personal value system. The secondary mode is internal, where we take things in primarily via your intuition. ENFJs are people-focused individuals. we live in the world of people possibilities. More so than any other type, they have excellent people skills. They understand and care about people, and have a special talent for bringing out the best in others. ENFJ's main interest in life is giving love, support, and a good time to other people. They are focused on understanding, supporting, and encouraging others. They make things happen for people, and get their best personal satisfaction from this. I do agree in some part of the test because I like to help other and make them feel much better if they have problem or if they need someone to talk to. I also like to encourage other and motivate when they feel depress. Therefore, I like to help other and also give back to the community.
What do think about Wikis? Would you be able to use it in your own classroom?
I think Wiki is really interesting website were you can find anything quickly. Wiki is a type of Web site that allows users to add, remove, or edit and change available content. However, one of the criticism of Wiki is that because anyone can create and edit wiki pages, the content may no be accurate. I do think is good way to let students explore wiki by assigning students project of researching. The Wiki would offer to the students environments for students to engage in collaborative, coauthored work that can continually evolve and improve. Because of the high degree sharing and revision that wikis support which there is also high degree of critical analysis possible as students evaluate the ideas. Therefore, for students using Wiki it would allow the students to analyze the results of their choices and combine that critical thinking with a demonstration of the knowledge they have gained through researching.
Do you believe that learning by conversing in learning communities can be more effective than traditional instruction? What evidence would we need to confirm (or reject) that belief?
I think for me Traditional instruction consisted of an instructor and live demonstration. Which it could help students to understand better or to learn. I do think having a demonstration before doing an assignment. It would help students to comprehends much better rather than just telling the students. For example if you teach Math if you have to solve a problem in your classroom. You are not just going to tell the students this is how you do it instead of writing on the board and solving the problem. Been able for student to understand you would have to explaining the steps that you have to go through to be able to solve the problem. Therefore, I would choose Traditional instruction because not everyone comprehends in the same way the parson may be telling you how.

I do agree that students have different learning styles. I do agree that not everyone understand in the same way as other. However, we (learning teacher) have to we aware on the different way of styles you have in your class. Because you might have some ESL (English Second Language) students that are not going to be able to understand as fast as other students. Therefore, is very important to know the styles of your students in your classroom. because you do not want to teach in only one way were some students might understand on other do not. However, as person we know that everyone is different in aspect in the person characteristic because if everyone was the same it would be a boring world to live.
